I'm the face behind Empowering Peace Counseling PLLC. I started this adventure to help people just like you.
Have you ever heard the phrase " I'm not a regular mom I’m a cool mom", Well basically that's me only when it comes to therapy. I've always felt that traditional therapy, with stuffy offices and robotic questions like "How do you feel about that?", is just not my style. I personally think that is a super sh*tty way to do therapy. I think that therapy should be a fun experience.I believe therapy is a special space where you can truly connect with someone – a place to share, to chat, to find laughter, to release tears, to express, and, above all, to feel genuinely heard and respected.
I am not only a therapist but a mother to five, a wife, and part of the late ADHD diagnosis club. You'll often find me immersed in the magical world of Harry Potter, identifying as an Enneagram 8, savoring all things coffee, and proudly carrying the title of an honorary Gilmore Girl.
So basically, you are getting a therapist who is not only over-caffeinated and funny but someone real and genuine. Embrace the weird, my friends.
